The best thing you can do to prevent digital eye strain is to give your eyes regular breaks. The Canadian Association of Optometrists recommends following the 20/20/20 rule: Every 20 minutes, take a 20-second break, and focus your eyes on something that’s at least 20 feet away from you.
You may also want to speak to your optometrist about investing in a pair of computer glasses, which are treated with an anti-glare coating and designed to filter out harmful blue light, safeguarding your visual abilities and improving your comfort.
